About The Program
Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program, Spring 2019 invites applications from students pursuing a degree in a science related field. The objective of the scholarship is to encourage students who are developing a career in science and provide them financial support for pursuing research. The aim of the program is the development and advancement of the life science community.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
This scholarship is open to students all across the globe. However, to be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must have a major declared in a science related field. He/she must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma program.
Benefits
The selected students will be awarded a scholarship of USD 1500.

- Acceptance letter from the University/program the applicant is currently accepted/enrolled in.
- A 500-word personal statement explaining how the applicant plans to use his/her degree to further advance science.
- A 200-character written statement on what the applicant believes is the biggest hurdle for people working in his/her specific field of interest and why.

Q. I am a high school student and am still waiting on admission to a university. Can I still apply?
A. If selected, the funds are applied directly to the university listed in the application. If the applicant cannot provide one by the application deadline, it is recommended to apply for next semester’s scholarship.
Q. I am not sure if my major will qualify. What majors are eligible?
A. All science-related majors are eligible (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Medical Engineering etc.).
Q. When will you send me the check if I am selected as the winner?
A. If selected, the check will be sent directly to the university listed in the application.
Q. I already have a degree. Can I apply for this scholarship?
A. Yes. A student can apply for this scholarship to further pursue his/her science-related education.
Q. Do you require any English certifications to apply for the scholarship?
A. No.
Q. My payment for school is coming up. Can you let me know if I have been selected before the deadline?
A. Unfortunately, no.
Q. I don’t have a declared major. Can I still apply for this scholarship?
A. Yes. As part of the written statement, an applicant can explain what he/she plans to do in the future.
Q. Is there a GPA requirement?
A. No.
