About The Program
National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal invites applications for the NITK Surathkal Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (MACS) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from M.Tech./M.Sc./MCA degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "A Retinex Inspired Framework for Intensity Homogenization, Contrast Upgradation, and Restoration of Satellite and Aerial Images". The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA (as per the SERB/Institute Rules).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Preferably be below 28 years of age
- Hold an M.Tech./M.Sc./MCA degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/IT/Mathematics/Electronics with good academic performance and good programming skills
- Have qualified UGC-NET/CSIR/GATE
