About The Program
NIT Warangal Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the National Institute of Technology, Warangal to B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a DST-SERB, EMEQ Call sponsored project entitled - "Development of an Efficient Hybrid Battery Thermal Management System for the Application of Electric Vehicles". The selected candidate will receive an emolument of INR 31,000 per month for the first 2 years and INR 35,000 thereafter. The candidate will receive HRA as per institute rules.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be 28 years of age
- Hold a B.E./ B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering Degree(First class) and M.E./M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering/any equivalent specialization (first-class)
- Have a valid GATE score
Desired Qualifications -
- Have expected prior knowledge in CFD, Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics
Benefits
The selected candidate will receive an emolument of INR 31,000 per month for the first 2 years and INR 35,000 thereafter. The candidate will receive HRA as per institute rules.
Note - The selected candidate is also eligible for on-campus Hostel & Mess facilities, subject to availability.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The shortlisted candidates will have to attend an interview (online/offline).
- A list of eligible candidates will be announced on the institute website and also intimated through email or phone.
- If an interview needs to be conducted online, candidates are expected to have a good internet connection.
- The selected candidates are eligible to register for Ph.D. degree at NIT, Warangal as per institute rules. However, the candidate needs to apply for Ph.D. position when the advertisement is open.
