About The Program
NIT Silchar Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project entitled - "Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (SUSTENANCE)". The selected fellow will receive a salary of up to INR 31,000 per month plus 8% HRA.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be 35 years of age
- Have B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from recognized University
- Have GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/qualified through National level examination according to DST guidelines
Desirable Qualification/Experience:
- Have an M.Tech. degree and hands-on experience in developing and working on hardware/laboratory prototypes especially on Power Electronic Converters
Note - Throughout First Class in an academic career is preferred.
