About The Program

NIT Rourkela Summer Internship Programme 2025 is an opportunity offered by the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela for undergraduate and master’s students. EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be pursuing one of the following:
    • a B.E./B.Tech and appeared for at least 4th-semester examination
    • a B. Arch/Integrated M.Sc./Integrated M.Tech/Dual degree and has appeared for at least 6th-semester examination
    • an M.Sc/MA/MBA and has appeared for at least 2nd-semester examination
  • have a good academic record
  • possess the marks/grade sheet from all the previous semesters
  • be free for the internship tenure (16th May - 15 July 2025)
Benefits

Selected fellows will receive:-

  • ₹7,500 per month as approximate food and accommodation costs at NIT Rourkela hostel.
  • Institutional medical facilities
  • Laboratory, library, and internet facilities

Note:- Fellowship or other kinds of financial assistance will not be provided.

  • Marksheet of previous semester (PDF, less than 3 MB in size)
  • Recommendation form (PDF, less than 3 MB in size)
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page, download the provided recommendation form and click ‘Apply Online’.
Step 4: Click ‘New Candidate Registration’ and fill out the required information, then click ‘Submit’.
Step 5: Click on the option to log in and enter the valid credentials.
Step 6: Click ‘Fill Up Application Form’, fill in the required information, upload the necessary documents and click ‘Submit Application Form’.

Note:- Applicants must keep a print copy of the application form for future reference.

Selection Criteria

 Candidates will be selected based on merit and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
