About The Program
NIT Rourkela Mechanical Engineering Department (MED) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered to M.Tech. degree holders by the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Design, Optimisation and Experimental Investigation of High-Speed Turbomachinery Rotor Supported on Gas Foil Bearing". The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month for the 1st & 2nd years and INR 35,000 per month for the 3rd year.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M.Tech degree in Machine Design
Desirable Qualification/Experience -
- Have work experience in Matlab, SolidWorks and a basic understanding of vibration, bearings and rotor dynamics
Benefits
The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month for the 1st & 2nd years and INR 35,000 per month for the 3rd year.
