The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela invites applications for NIT Rourkela Department of Physics and Astronomy Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from MSc in Physics degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for the project titled, “Development of Biocompatible Multimodality Magnetic nanomaterials for Nanomedicine". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold an MSc degree in Physics with 65% marks or 7 CGPA or above
- Have knowledge of condensed matter physics
Benefits The selected fellows who are GATE/NET qualified will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month. However, for Non-GATE/NET qualified candidates, the fellowship will be given as per CSIR guidelines.

- Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit and need of the project.
- The duration of the fellowship is 2.5 years.
