About The Program
The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela invites applications for NIT Rourkela Department of Mining Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for project titled, “Development of a technique for the treatment and control of acidity of water in mine sumps of MCL using waste material". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month for 1st & 2nd year and INR 35,000 per month for 3rd year.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a BE/BTech degree with GATE or ME/MTech degree in Environmental Science & Engineering/ Civil/ Mining/ Geoinformatics OR
- Have an MSc in Env. Science/Geology/Chemistry with NET or any other qualification
- Have knowledge of statistics and GPS software
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month for 1st & 2nd year and INR 35,000 per month for 3rd year.
