The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela invites applications for the NIT Rourkela Department of Life Science Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post for the project titled, “Enhancing Broad-spectrum Disease Resistance against Rice Bast by Engineering Orthologous Resistance Genes of Arabidopsis in Rice". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month for the third year.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Botany/Life Science /Biochemistry with 65% marks
- Have valid NET / GATE score, knowledge in cloning and plant tissue culture
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship up to INR 31,000 per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month for the third year.
