About The Program
NIT Rourkela Department of Food Process Engineering (DFPE) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to graduate/postgraduate degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Cinnamon Oil-based Gelatin-chitosan Composite Films for Active Food Packaging Applications”. The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a B.Tech degree with M.Tech. degree in Food Processing Engineering/Food Technology/Agricultural Process Engineering or any other relevant branch of Engineering/Technology
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. in relevant discipline with 60% marks or 1st class in both B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree and M.E./M.Tech. degree from a recognized Technical Institute or University
- Have GATE (XE/XL) qualified/ICAR-NET qualified
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
- Have expertise in working with analytical techniques including FTIR/XRD/DSC/Rheometer/Texture Analyzer/Goniometer/Colorimeter/FE-SEM/CLSM/HPLC
