About The Program

NIT Rourkela CSIR Department of Chemistry Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.Sc. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Bi/Sb-based Lead-free Halide Perovskites for Possible Photovoltaic Applications”. The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 (1st & 2nd year) and INR 35,000 for the 3rd year (if the work is satisfactory) [for NET/GATE].

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (65% marks or 7.0 CGPA), GATE/NET qualified
  • Have Valid NET/GATE Score 
  • Have knowledge of synthesis and Characterization of Solids
Benefits

The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 (1st & 2nd year) and INR 35,000 for the 3rd year (if the work is satisfactory) [for NET/GATE].
