About The Program

NIT Raipur Department of Biomedical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to graduate and postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on the project entitled - “Development of a Risk Stratification System for Clinical Management of Sickle Cell Disease using Predictive Machine Learning Approaches”. The candidate will be receiving a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • Hold a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication/Biomedical Engineering/Bioengineering/Medical Electronics/Biomedical Instrumentation/Signal Processing and related fields

 

Note - The candidate must be selected through a process described in any one of the following fields - 

  • The scholars who are selected through Gate and National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship)
  • The candidates selected through National Level Examinations conducted by the Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions like IIT/IISc./DST/DBT, etc.

Terms and Conditions
  • No TA/DA is permissible for appearing in the interview.
  • The details of the interview will be sent to shortlisted candidates on 5th July 2021.
  • The above position is purely temporary.
  • The initial appointment will be given for one month, followed by an extension based on satisfactory performance, funds, and project tenure.
  • The appointment shall be co-terminus with the project and will be governed as per the Terms and Conditions of funding agency SERB DST, New Delhi, and Rules, Regulations, and Norms of NIT Raipur.
