About The Program
NIT Jalandhar Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar to M.E/M.Tech/B.E/B.Tech degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a DST-SERB funded project entitled - “Design and Development of a Highly Efficient Microfluidic Pumping and Mixing Device for Accurate Biochemical Analysis with Deep Learning Method." The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of up to INR 35,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be 28 years as of the date of selection
- Hold an M.E/M.Tech degree in Microelectronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics/Mechanical and relevant areas
- Hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Instrumentation/ Mechatronics/Mechanical or any relevant branches
- Have a valid GATE score
Desirable Experience-
- Have experience in MEMS, NX CAD, ANSYS, MATLAB, AUTOCAD, FEM or COMSOL MULTIPHYSISCS, and
- Have prior experience of working in a cleanroom environment, designing and fabricating microstructures
Benefits
The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA for the 1st and 2nd year and INR 35,000 per month plus HRA for the 3rd year.
