About The Program
The NIT Goa Summer Internship Programme 2026 is a structured, research-oriented internship offered exclusively to students enrolled at institutions other than NIT Goa. The programme provides hands-on exposure to cutting-edge departmental research and laboratory facilities over a period of two months. Interns are expected to contribute meaningfully to their assigned projects and will be issued a certificate upon successful completion. Selected interns will receive variable benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a regular full-time student with no pending backlogs and no active disciplinary proceedings from their parent institution
- be currently enrolled in one of the following programmes:
- B.Tech. / B.E. — completing 2nd or 3rd year (Semester 4 or 6)
- B.Arch. — completing Semester 4, 6, or 8
- M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Sc. / MBA / M.Plan / MA / MS — completing 1st year (Semester 2)
- B.Sc. / B.S. — completing 2nd or 3rd year
- have an academic threshold of 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) or 65% aggregate marks in previous results
- be enrolled at any institution other than NIT Goa
Note: NIT Goa students are not eligible for this internship.

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Scroll down to the ‘Google form’ under the ‘How to register’ section.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents. Then click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Note: APAAR ID is compulsory for the internship. Generate APAAR ID before applying for the internship. If not yet created, register through the DigiLocker app using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, then submit your institution name, enrolment number, and course details to generate the ID.

- Registration fee of ₹500 is non-refundable, which must be paid before joining.
- The award of the internship certificate is subject to a satisfactory recommendation from the assigned mentor, HoD & Dean.
