Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council and Sikh Human Development Foundation, USA invites applications for Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council, SHDF Scholarship 2017. Scholars will be selected by a written test, followed by an Interview, however, the scholarship will be granted to those only who have taken admission in a professional course in recognized Institute.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Candidate must be class 12 pass and above
- Candidates applied for the courses like Engineering, Architecture, Information technology, Computer Science, Medical, Nursing, Pharmacology, Home Science, Education, Business Management, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and etc
- The candidate must have secured 60% marks or more in the previous examination
- Total family income of the candidate is equal to or less than INR 12,500 per month or INR 1,50,000 per year
- The candidate must have an active e-mail account and a mobile and alternative telephone number for easy communication
How can you apply? The application can be done by post only with the following steps:
Step 1: Click here to read the details before applying
Step 2: Take a print of Application form
Step 3: Completely fill the application form in block letters (English) in own Handwriting
- The application form should not contain any dots, dashes or blank space
- Report from college must be signed by the head with seal
Step 4: Following documents must be attached with the application form
- Paste two coloured photographs at space given in the form and one with the name on the backside
- Self attested marksheet of class 10-12 board exams and above if any
- Attested copy from Gazette officer of professional courses
- Self attested copies of fees receipts
- Death certificate(s) photocopy, if father/mother is not alive
- Family income certificate
Step 5: Send your entry by speed/registered post or courier, write “SHDF Scholarships-2017” on the top of the envelope

The questions will be in Punjabi language and consist of two papers:
Paper 1: Questions of general grammar.
Paper 2: Questions of Religious and Moral studies from a book ‘NAITIK SIKHIYA’ published by Guru Gobind Singh Study
