About The Program
National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar invites applications for the NISER Bhubaneswar School of Physical Sciences (SPS) Research Associateship 2021 from PhD degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project entitled, “Tuning the interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction in Ultrathin Magnetic Films: toward the stabilization of skyrmions in spintronics devices”. The selected fellows will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 47,000 per month plus HRA (as per norms).

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be below 35 years of age as of the date of the interview
- Hold a PhD in physics or material science
Experience desired in the fabrication of magnetic thin films by physical vapour deposition techniques and/or preparation of strongly correlated magnetic materials.
