The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bengaluru invites applications for postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is on a contract basis for the ICMR funded project titled “Genetic Architecture of Parkinson’s Disease in India". The selected candidate will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 41,600 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not be more than 28 years of age
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences (Genetics/Biochemistry/Zoology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Neurosciences or related subjects)/M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering with experience in methods/tools/techniques used in genetics research
- Have experience in processing blood samples, nucleic acid extraction, and genotyping
Preference will be given to the candidates who have worked and published research papers on human genetic disorders.
Benefits The selected candidate will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 41,600 per month.
