About The Program
The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bengaluru invites applications for the NIMHANS Bengaluru Department of Biophysics Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is on a contract basis for the project titled “Role of Alpha-synuclein Phosphorylation in Dopaminergic Neuron Dysfunction”. The selected candidate will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not be more than 26 years of age
- Hold an M.Sc degree in any field of Life Science/Physics/Biophysics/Chemistry with a good academic record
- Have CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification (Necessary)
Desirable Experience:
- Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Culture & Western Blot are encouraged to apply.
