NIMHANS Bengaluru Clinical Research Training Program Fellowship in Neuromodulation in Psychiatry 2022 is a research opportunity offered to MBBS or M.D. degree holders by the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bengaluru. This fellowship is initiated under the Clinical Research Centre with a specific focus on training needs in the area of neuromodulation. The training program will involve neuromodulatory techniques [Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) and others] offering alternative treatment avenues for pharmaco-resistant psychiatric disorders.
The selected fellows will have to work on the project entitled, “Clinical Research Training Program Fellowship in Neuromodulation in Psychiatry" and they will receive consolidated remuneration of up to INR 71,800 plus allowances.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not be more than 40 years of age
- Hold MBBS degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution, OR
- Hold M.D. degree in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution
Benefits The selected fellows will receive consolidated remuneration of up to INR 71,800 plus allowances.

Documents - Copies of age proof documents
- Certificates of academic qualification, and experience
- A sample research project of a maximum of 1,000 words for evaluation of the applicant.
- Two “Letters of Support” from supervisors/guides under whom the candidate has earlier worked/studied and a letter of commitment for 3 years

- The candidates who are working should forward the application through the competent authority with a No-Objection Certificate stating that the candidate will be relieved in the event of being selected for the fellowship.
- No applications will be entertained if it is incomplete/received after the last date prescribed.
- No separate intimation will be given to the ineligible candidates.
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews.
