About The Program
Newcastle University India Leadership and Innovation Scholarship 2026 is an opportunity provided by Newcastle University for Indian students. It aims to aid high-calibre students from India to pursue postgraduate studies. Selected candidates will receive full tuition fees.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of India
- be assessed as an international student for fee purposes
- hold an offer for an eligible, full-time, one-year Master’s/M.Res. degree program at the city centre campus starting in September 2026
- have or expect to receive the equivalent of a first-class UK Honours degree
Note:- The following are ineligible for this scholarship:
- MPhil, MLitt, Doctoral (e.g. PhD, Integrated PhD, DClinPsych) applicants
- Postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma applicants
- Online (E-learning) degree programme applicants
- Undergraduate degree programme applicants
- Dual award degree applicants
- Current students, registered at the university, who have already commenced their
- postgraduate degree at the time of the award
- Students repeating courses
- Study abroad and exchange students
- 2-year Master’s degree programmes
- Students receiving other Newcastle scholarships
- Applicants whose fee status changes to “home”

Selected candidates will receive a scholarship to cover their full tuition fees.
