Education New Zealand and 8 New Zealand Universities jointly invite applications from Indian students for New Zealand Excellence Awards 2017 featuring 35 scholarships. The key objective behind this scholarship is to allow Indian students to experience New Zealand excellence in various programmes.
New Zealand Excellence Awards 2017
DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for the awards, an applicant must -
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Hold the current citizenship of India. (Note: The citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia are not eligible)
- Have a minimum equivalent GPA of B+ in the highest or most recent tertiary qualification.
- Have proof of offer for placement at a New Zealand University.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply through following steps -
Step 1: Click here to register online for the scholarship.
Step 2: Once registered, the candidates can login using their user account to fill in the application form.
Step 3: Upload required documents.
Step 4: Finally submit the application form.

At AUT University - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 4 students.
At Lincoln University - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 4 students.
At Massey University - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 4 students.
At University of Auckland - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 4 students.
At Victoria University of Wellington - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 5 students.
At University of Canterbury - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 6 students.
At University of Otago - Scholarship award of NZD 5000 per awardee to 4 students.
At University of Waikato - Scholarship award of NZD 10000 to 1 student pursuing Bachelor's degree and NZD 50000 to 2 students pursuing Master's degree.
