To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a native/local resident of Jharkhand State
- have completed 10 years but not more than 12 years of age as on 1st August 2024, i.e., those born between 1st August 2012 and 31st August 2014 (both dates inclusive)
- have passed Class 5 from any recognised school within the state of Jharkhand

- A Class 5 passing certificate signed by the headmaster of the school

Note:- All the above certificates are mandatory. In the absence of any certificate, the application will be automatically rejected.

Selection Criteria
Based on the entrance exam results, 150 students will be shortlisted according to the merit list and applicable state reservation policies. These students will then undergo a mandatory physical examination to verify their age and overall health. The medical board's decision on age determination is final.
Subsequently, 100 students will be selected from those who pass the physical examination, following the merit list and reservation criteria. Final admission will be granted upon successful verification of all required certificates and documents.
