About The Program
The National Scholarship Test 2018 is a national and state level test organised by the Shiksha Education Trust for the students of class 5 to 12. The aim of this test to create a more conducive learning environment for the students through scholarships. The scholarships offered under this program open up a plethora of opportunities for the deserving students. The top-ranked students in this test can win up to INR 75,000.

- Rank 1: INR 75,000, one-year book facilities & excellence certificate.
- Rank 2: INR 65,000, one-year book facilities & excellence certificate.
- Rank 3: INR 55,000, one-year book facilities & excellence certificate.
State level
- Rank 1: INR 28,000, one-year book facilities & excellence certificate.
- Rank 2: INR 25,000, one-year book facilities & excellence certificate.
How can you apply?
The applicant can apply for the National Scholarship Test 2018 either online or by post. The steps are given below:
To apply online:
Step 1- Visit the website of NST here.
Step 2- Click on 'Apply' and then select 'Apply Online'. It will take you to the application form.
Step 3- Fill up the application form.
Step 4- Enter your personal details, contact details, educational details, identification details and declaration.
Step 5- Submit your application.
To apply by post:
Step 1- Download the application form here.
Step 2- Take a print out of the NST 2018 application form.
Step 3- Fill the required details and also paste recent photograph.
Step 4- Send a DD/I.P.O of INR 200/- in favour of "Shiksha Education Trust " payable at Ambala Cantt.

Terms and Conditions
- The online exams are conducted all over India except for the states of Bihar and Chhattisgarh where only an offline exam is conducted.
- The test will be of total 100 marks with 100 questions carrying 1 mark each.
- The marks distribution would be- Maths (30 marks), Science (20 marks), General Knowledge (30 marks) and English (20 marks).
- The exam will be for a duration of 2 hours with the timing being 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- There will be no negative marking.
- Each paper will be objective type with four alternate options provided for each question.
- The test venue can be changed depending on various reasons.
- While sending the offline application form, mention on envelop "Application For National Scholarship Test - 2018".
