About The Program
National Overseas Scholarship for Students with Disabilities for the year 2016-17 is invited by Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities to provide financial assistance to pursue Master’s Degree and Ph.D. courses abroad in the fields of Engineering, Management & Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Agricultural Science, Medicine, Commerce, Accounting & Finance, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts. The number of scholarships to be awarded every year is twenty out of which six scholarships are reserved for women candidates.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
- Students with disabilities below 35 years of age.
- Securing 55% marks and above in Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree
- Family annual income of Rs.6.00 lakh per annum or less
