About The Program
National Overseas Scholarship for ST 2021-22 is an opportunity offered to postgraduate, PhD and post-doctorate level scholars who are willing to pursue higher studies abroad. The selected candidates will receive variable awards.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -
- Be below 35 years of age as of 1st July in the year for which the award is concerned
- Be an only child of a family
- Have scored 55% or equivalent grades in relevant Master's degree and PhD programme (For Post-Doctoral courses)
- Have scored 55% or equivalent grades in relevant Master's degree (For PhD degree)
- Have scored 55% or equivalent grade in relevant Bachelor's degree (For Master's degree)
- Hold relevant working experience in the concerned field
- Have an annual family income less than INR 6 lakhs from all sources

Benefits
The selected candidates will receive an annual maintenance allowance of US Dollars 15,400 for all levels of courses and an annual maintenance allowance for candidates in the United Kingdom will be pound sterling 9,900.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Check the box beside 'I have read and understood the guidelines/ instructions for registration' and click on Continue.
Step 3: Fill in the required information and click on 'Register'.
Step 4: Once registered successfully, log in using the registered user id and password.
Step 4: Fill in the relevant information, upload the supporting documents and submit.
