About The Program
National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Examination, Chhattisgarh 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Chattisgarh to students studying in Class 8 from a government-recognised institution of the state. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship of INR 1,000 per month for Class 9 to 12.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be studying in Class 8 in a recognised government institution/government aided-institution/local body school in the academic year 2023-24
- have secured 55% in the last qualifying examination (Note: 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST applicants)
- have an annual family income of less than INR 3,50,000
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive INR 1,000 per month in Class 9 to 12.
