STEP – I : Collect the Registration Fee from students:
Please collect the NGSE Examination fee from the participating students. The NGSE Examination Fee details are given below:
NGSE Fee to be collected from students is Rs 500
Portion of the Fee retained by Schools towards administrative expenses is Rs 100 or Rs 130*
Balance Fee to be remitted by the school per student is Rs 400 or Rs 370*
Note: * indicates that the school (in India) has to print the question papers sent through email as password protected pdf files. In this case, the schools need to remit Rs. 370 only. If the school requires printed question booklets to be couriered to them, they need to remit Rs. 400 per student.
If the school is not having enough students to become a center and prior permission is not taken to be a center under exceptional circumstances, they need to remit the full fee (Rs. 500/-) collected. The NGSE – Mains is a single paper. It has no subject wise fee.
STEP – II: Complete the Student Participation List (SPL)
Complete the Student Participation List (SPL) with students' details. It can be downloaded from the Download Center of the website.
STEP –III: Remit the Fee Collected
Out of the fee collected, the school should retain the test administration expenses for the school as mentioned above. Remit the balance fee to the account of the NGSE administering agency – Entrancemaster India Private Limited.
The fee can be paid to the NGSE administering agency's account in the following ways:
By sending a Demand Draft / Multicity cheque, favouring Entrancemaster India Private Limited, payable at Mumbai.
By depositing cash in the account of NGSE administering agency at any of the State Bank of India branches across India.
By NEFT / RTGS / SWIFT/ Net banking to transfer the fee to the NGSE administering agency

As we receive the details of deposit / transfer, we shall send you the receipt of payment and thereafter, the Student Enrollment Numbers, if not allotted already.

Terms and Conditions
Phase I : NGSE Mains 2017
NGSE Mains is a single test comprises of multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The NGSE comprises of questions with one or more right options, a series of right combinations and matching etc.
Mathematics and Science are the major components of NGSE up to class X. There will be a few application oriented General Knowledge questions too. See detailed syllabus under downloads section of the website for more details.
Marking the answers:
Students will be given Student Response Sheet (SRS) wherein the right answers are to be marked by darkening the circles using BLACK PEN. Please note that answers once marked cannot be changed later using eraser or white ink. Such corrections if any will be treated as wrong answers.
The NGSE Mains may have negative marking. Students are advised to read the instructions given in the question booklet against EACH QUESTION, carefully. It is not necessary that the previous year’s questions indicate the current year's question pattern.
Choice of Test Dates:
Phase 1 - NGSE Mains 2017 will be held on Tuesday, 27th September 2016 and on Saturday, 3rd December 2016. Schools can choose a date as per their convenience.
Phase 2 - NGSE Advanced 2017, will be held only once, on Sunday, 26th February 2017.
