About The Program
National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai invites applications for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2018 from students who have passed their Class 12. Qualifying this examination, the students will get admission in 5 years integrated M.Sc. program at NISER or UM-DAE CEBS.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible for the test, an applicant must -
- Have passed Class 12 in 2016 or 2017. (Note: Students appearing for Class 12 examination in 2018 are also eligible).
- Be born on or after 01 August 1998, if belongs to General or OBC category. (Note: The SC/ST/Physically Disabled candidates will receive an age limit relaxation of up to 5 years).
- Have obtained at least 60% aggregate or equivalent marks in Class 12 examination from any recognized Indian board of study. (Note: The minimum requirement for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities is 55%).
- Have secured a position on the merit list of the NEST.
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the test online through following steps -
Step 1: Click here to register as a new user.
Step 2: Once registered, the applicants will receive login credentials (username and password) on their registered email.
Step 3: Login to continue the application process.
Step 4: Fill in all required details and upload passport-size photograph and signature.
Step 5: Pay the application fee online through credit card/debit card/net banking facility (For General/OBC applicants- INR 1000, For female/SC/ST/PWD applicants - INR 500).
Step 6: Finally submit the application.
