NASA Project Mars International Art and Film Contest 2018 invites entries from college students and working professionals in the field of film or graphic art industry with less than 5 years of experience. The contest aims to encourage the contestants to create their own visualisation of NASA’s upcoming mission to Mars through a short film or a poster.
Three prizes will be awarded in the film category:
One grand prize of USD 10,000
Two judge’s prize of USD 5,000
Eight prizes will be awarded in the poster category:
First Place: USD 1,500 (for one contestant)
Second Place: USD 1,000 (for two contestants)
Third Place: USD 500 (for five contestants)

Step 3: Select the Video/Visual art category.
Step 4: Fill in all the details and click next.
Step 5: Share the YouTube or Vimeo link of your short film or upload the poster in PDF format optimised for on-screen viewing.
Step 6: Click 'submit entry'.

Q: Can I submit multiple entries?
A: Yes. Please fill out a unique submission form for each entry.
Q: Can I show my film/poster ahead of October 2018 screening?
A: No, completed designs or films may not be shown ahead of the judged screening by Project Mars.
