NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) 2025-26

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be pursuing a 5-year integrated course in a reputable institution and completed/completing the 4th year in 2025 OR
• have completed their 1st year of postgraduate studies in 2025 in one of the following disciplines:
  • Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.)
  • Agribusiness
  • Economics
  • Agri-economics
  • Social Sciences
  • Management

Note:-

• Students applying for an internship in a particular State must be either pursuing their degree from that State or they must be a resident of that state.
• Mumbai Head Office seats for internship are open to students across India.
• Indian students studying abroad are also eligible to apply.

A total of 39 selected candidates will receive:-

• A monthly stipend of ₹18,000
• A daily field visit allowance of ₹2,000 (NER states)/ ₹1,500 (non-NER states)
• A maximum travel allowance of ₹6,000 per head
• Miscellaneous expenses of ₹2,000 per head

Note:-

• The minimum internship duration is 8 weeks, and maximum is 12 weeks.
• The monetary benefits, such as stipends and field allowances, will be released to interns upon satisfactory completion of their projects.
• Claims for stipends must be submitted only through the portal using the prescribed format.

• Bonafide certificate
• A recent, coloured, passport-size photograph of the applicant (JPEG/PNG, max 50 KB)

For interview:

• SSC/10th marksheet (with age of proof)
• HSC/12th marksheet
• Graduation marksheet
• 1st year marksheet (in the case of 5 years integrated course)

Step 3: Scroll down to the registration link on the 3rd page and click it.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and click ‘Submit’.
Step 5: Click the login link sent to the provided email and log in with valid credentials.
Step 6: Click ‘Application Submission’ and fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents. Click ‘Save & Next’ to continue the application.
Step 7: Submit the completed application and save/print it.
