About The Program

Mukhyamantri Vidhyarathi Pratibha Yojana for SC/ST/OBC Students 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST, Government of NCT of Delhi, for SC/ST/OBC category students studying in Class 9 to 12 in recognised public schools in Delhi. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship of up to ₹10,000 per annum.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-May-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be an Indian citizen
  • be domiciled in Delhi 
  • belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC) community
  • be enrolled in Class 9 to 12 in a recognised/affiliated to the Directorate of Education/Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan/National Open School/Schools affiliated to NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board, East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation
  • have secured the following minimum marks in the previous class:
    • Class 9 and 10: 50%
    • Class 11 and 12: 60%
  • have an annual parent(s)/guardian income not exceeding ₹8,00,000 

Note:- No income limit is applicable for students who secured a minimum of 75% marks in the previous class.

Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the benefits in the following manner:-

  • Class 9 and 10: ₹5,000 per annum
  • Class 11 and 12: ₹10,000 per annum
Documents
  • Annual family income certificate issued by the Revenue Department of Delhi NCT
  • EWS certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi (if applicable)
  • Domicile certificate by the competent authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate in the name of student/father issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD)
  • Marksheet/certificate of the previous academic year
  • Proof of studying in classes 9/10/11/12 in Delhi schools
  • Aadhaar-seeded bank account details of the student (Note:- A joint bank account with a parent/guardian is also permissible)
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: 
Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Apply Services' and click on it. 
Step 4: Now. click on the 'Register' button, select the Aadhaar card for the document type, enter the Aadhaar number and captcha code. 
Step 5: Tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button to register.
Step 6: After successful registration, log in using the credentials (user ID, password, and captch code). 
Step 7: Select the scholarship scheme and fill the relevant details.
Step 8: Upload the required documents in the prescribed format and click on the 'Submit' button.
