About The Program
Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Medhavriti Yojana for SC and ST, Bihar 2026-27 is an opportunity offered by the Government of Bihar to provide support to female students of the state belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs). This scholarship aims to promote academic excellence among SC/ST females pursuing higher education. A one-time financial support of up to ₹15,000 will be provided to the selected female candidates.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a female permanently residing in Bihar
- belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) community
- have completed Class 12 from a recognised institution/school in 2025 with first or second division
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive the awards as follows:-
- First division in the Class 12 exam: ₹15,000
- Second division in the Class 12 exam: ₹10,000
