About The Program

Monash South Africa Scholarships 2019 invite applications from class 12 passed students who have enrolled in a full-time foundation programme, higher certificate or undergraduate course of study at Monash South Africa. The key objective of the scholarship is to provide learning opportunities for the highest achieving students and to recognise their academic excellence by offering them scholarships every year. 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
An applicant must - 
  • Have an offer to enrol or have enrolled in a full-time higher certificate, foundation programme or an undergraduate degree programme at Monash South Africa
  • Be studying in final year of secondary school or equivalent or be a current student at Monash South Africa with minimum one semester of study completed
  • Be able to demonstrate that the costs of stationery, textbooks, living expenses, travelling costs and printing costs can be covered by him/her at their own cost 
  • Not be in receipt of any other scholarship or financial support award
Benefits
The selected scholars will receive 25% to 100% of the annual fees. The award does not cover the cost of stationery, textbooks, living expenses, printing and travelling.

Last Date to Appy for Semester 1 - 15 November 2018
Last Date to Apply for Semester 2 - 30 April 2019
Notification of Results - In December and June
Selection Criteria
  • The selection of students will be strictly based on their academic achievement.
  • The highest achieving students will receive the scholarship. 
  • The students who are currently studying at Monash South Africa have to obtain a minimum overall GPA of 3.3 and above. 
  • The students who are going to commence studies at Monash South Africa have to obtain an achievement level of 40 and above.
