About The Program

Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students (Class 1 to 12), Delhi 2017-18 invites applications from students of class 1 to 12 of Public School/ Govt./ Aided/ Kendriya Vidyalaya/ NDMC/ Delhi Cantonment Board.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • An applicant must be studying in class 1 to 12 of any Public School/ Govt./ Aided/ Kendriya Vidyalaya/ NDMC/ Delhi Cantonment Board.
  • If a student is an SC/ST, then no income limit is required but if the students is an OBC, then family income must not be more than INR 2 lac per annum.
Benefits
  • SC/ST/Minority: Class 1 to 8: INR 1000 per annum

OBC: Class 6 to 8

  • INR 600 per annum (must have scored 55% to 60% marks in the previous class)
  • INR 720 per annum (must have scored 60% and above marks in the previous class)

SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students: Class 9 to 10

  • INR 1620 per annum (must have scored 50% to 60% marks in the previous class)
  • INR 2040 per annum (60% and above marks in the previous class)

SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students: Class 11 to 12:

  • INR 3000 per annum (must have scored 55% to 70% marks in the previous class)
  • INR 4500 per annum (must have scored above 70% marks in the previous class)
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through their respective schools or directly to the Department of Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minority.
