About The Program

The Merit Based Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025 is an initiative of the Directorate of Tribal Welfare (State Schemes) to support the education of ST category students of Goa. This award recognizes their hard work and encourages them to further excel academically.  The selected students will receive a scholarship award of up to ₹20,000.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • belong to the Scheduled Tribes Community 
  • have an annual family income below ₹5,00,000 (Note: The first five rank holders of the SSC and HSSC shall receive a scholarship irrespective of their family income.)
Benefits

Selected students will receive: 

  • ₹20,000 for the first five rank holders in SSC and HSSC examinations
  • ₹6000 for 50% to 59.99% score
  • ₹9600 for 60% to 69.99% score
  • ₹12,000 for 70% to 74.99% score
  • ₹18,000 for 75% and above
Documents
  • Copy of caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Copy of income certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Copy of mark sheet.
  • Receipt of fees paid.
  • Self-attested copy of bank passbook seeded with Aadhaar card (national bank account recommended).
  • Copy of Aadhaar card along with a consent form.

Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:
Step 1:

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the white colour ‘Register’ button.  
Step 4: In the student registration section, click on the ‘Click here’ link for registration. 
Step 5: Fill in all the details and click on the green colour ‘Register’ button to proceed with your application.

Candidates will be selected based on the performance of the students in the SSC and HSSC board examinations.
