About The Program
MCAER Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna (EBC) Students, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Maharashtra Council Of Agriculture Education And Research (MCAER), Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to EBC (Economic Backward Class) students enrolled in a professional, non-professional and technical diploma/degree/postgraduate courses. The selected students will receive a reimbursement of 50% of tuition fees and 50% of exam fees.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- have taken admission to a professional/non-professional/technical course (diploma/graduation/postgraduation degree) in a recognised institution
- be admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
- have taken admission under the General category and Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category
- have an annual family income of not more than ₹8,00,000
- have a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester (except freshly admitted students)

- Undertaking stating that not more than 2 beneficiaries from family are availing scholarship

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.

Terms and Conditions
- The candidates studying in deemed and private universities are not eligible for the scholarship.
- The applicant should not avail any other scholarship/stipend to be eligible for this scholarship.
- Only two children per family are eligible for the benefit of the scheme.
