About The Program

MCAER Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (AGR), Maharashtra 2022-23 is an initiative of the Maharashtra Council Of Agriculture Education And Research (MCAER) to financially help children of registered labour and marginal land farmers. The selected students will receive up to INR 30,000 for 10 months.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • be a resident of Maharashtra
  • be a child of registered labour/child of Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder)
  • be 'Bonafide Student of Institute' 
  • have taken admission in professional and technical courses (diploma/graduation/postgraduation degree)
  • have an annual income is less than INR 8 lakhs
  • have a minimum of 50% attendance in the previous semester (except newly admitted students)
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the hostel maintenance allowances for a duration of 10 months as follow - 

Category Students with annual income up to INR 8 lakh Students whose parents are aplabhudharak shetkari/registered labourers
For students studying in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City INR 10,000 INR 30,000
For other locations in Maharashtra INR 8,000 INR 20,000

  • Marksheet of Class 10 (S.S.C) & onwards
  • Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra state
  • CAP Related document
  • Register Labor Certificate/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) Certificate (Note - In case of not a child of Alpabudharak or Registered Labour then family Annual Income Certificate.)
  • Undertaking 'In the current year, not more than 2 beneficiaries from family'
  • Hosteller documents (Note - In case of a private hostel or paying guest, an agreement with the owner will be required.)
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on 'New Applicant Registration'. 
Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and phone number.
Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics. 
Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 7: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Selection Criteria

The candidate will be selected based on the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions
  • Only 2 children from a family are allowed to avail the scholarship for the current academic year.
  • The candidates studying in deemed and private universities are not eligible for the scholarship.
  • The applicant should not avail any other scholarship/stipend to be eligible for this scholarship.
