About The Program

Master Mind Scholarships 2025 is an opportunity provided by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training to outstanding international students. Selected candidates will receive EUR 10,000 and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • have a GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 in their last bachelor’s/master’s degree
  • have applied for a master's degree program at a Flemish higher education institution
  • have been accepted by the respective institution
  • have a good knowledge of the English language

Note:-

  • The following proof of knowledge of the English language is accepted if they are not older than 3 years:
    • An overall minimum band score of 7.0 on the IELTS test
    • A minimum total score of 94 on a TOEFL test
    • A C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference/similar result in another official language test, recognised by the host institution
    • Online language tests of IELTS and TOEFL
  • School of arts applicants must have one of the following as proof of the English language:
    • An overall minimum band score of 6.5 on the IELTS test
    • A minimum total score of 90 on the TOEFL test
    • A B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference/similar result in another official English language test recognised by the host institution
    • Online language tests of IELTS and TOEFL
  • Applicant’s previous degree must have been obtained from a non-Flemish higher education institution.
  • Students enrolled in a preparatory/bridging program or distance learning are ineligible.
     
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:-

  • An annual scholarship of EUR 10,000
  • Tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS)

Note:-

  • The scholarship covers accommodation costs, insurance and a significant amount of their living expenses.
  • In case of a two-year program, candidates must secure at least 54 ECTS in the first year.
  • The scholarship cannot be combined with an Erasmus Mundus/BAEF/Fulbright scholarship.

Documents
  • A passport-sized photo
  • A valid passport or national ID
  • A Curriculum Vitae (including American GPA out of 4.0 and, if applicable, publications, academic awards, previous scholarships, etc.)
  • Transcript of records (if written in a language other than Dutch, French, German or English, a certified translation must be enclosed)
  • English language test results or a letter of exemption provided by the host university
  • Letter of motivation written in English
  • Two signed letters of recommendation from professors of the previous home university, a university of applied sciences (and arts) or a recent employer, written in English
  • Copy of acquired diplomas (if written in a language other than Dutch, French, German or English, a certified translation must be enclosed)
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1:

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Submit the application to the respective Flemish host institution before the institution’s deadline.
Step 4: After getting preselected by the institution for the scholarship, complete your application on the Mobility-Online tool by following the necessary steps.
Step 5: The host institution will validate and submit the completed application.
