About The Program
MANIT Bhopal Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME) Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to M.Tech. degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, “Investigation on the Development Al-Al Cladding Material through Compound Casting Process-Experiments and Numerical Simulations" ” funded by the Ministry of Mines. The selected fellow will receive a salary of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA (as applicable by the funding agency).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold an M.Tech. degree in Metallurgy/Materials/Mechanical Engineering from reputed Institutes or Universities
Desirable Qualifications -
- Be GATE qualified
Note - Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in the field of Metal Casting, modeling and simulation of metal casting process, Rolling and materials characterization using UTM, Hardness test, XRD, SEM, optical microstructure and etc.

- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- The JRF post is initially allowed for one year.
- The interview date will be notified to the eligible candidates through email.
- The selected candidate will be encouraged to make efforts to register for Ph.D. programme in the institute and follow institutional norms.

- No hard copy of the call letter will be sent to the candidate.
