Manipal University Admission Scholarship 2021-22

To be eligible, an applicant must –

• Apply for admission into an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Manipal University
• Fulfill the academic requirements for each programme
• Qualify entrance examinations like MET, NEET, GATE, GPAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. (if applicable)

The scholarships will be given under different categories. For each category, the students stand a chance to get a scholarship of up to 100% waiver on their tuition fees depending on their academic merit or performance in the entrance examination. Different categories of scholarships include –

• Merit Scholarship for MD and MDS Programs:
  • For MD programs at KMC Manipal/ Mangaluru: 35% of the course fee
  • For MDS programs at MCODS Manipal/ Mangaluru: 25% of the course fee
• KALAM - PAI, FREESHIP, and SCHOLAR Scholarships for MBBS & BDS - 100% waiver of course fee and hostel fee
• Freeship, Scholar, and Achiever Scholarships -  100% waiver of the payable course fee
• Scholar and Achiever Scholarship for All Other UG & PG program -  20% waiver of the course fee
• Scholarship for Konkani speaking students
• Merit Scholarship for Children of MAHE Alumni
• Scholarship scheme of interest subsidy on education loan
• AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme
• AICTE PG Scholarship
• Kadambi Scholarship 
• ITC Scholarship

• Admit Card Scorecard or Rank Letter
• Class 10 mark, 12 and Graduate Marks sheet and certificate (also used for DOB verification)
• Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
• Passport size photographs
• Provisional Allotment Letter
• Caste / PwD Certificate (if applicable)

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below. 
Step 2: Register by entering the candidate’s name, email id, mobile number, and other asked information alongside the preferred program and stream.
Step 3: Verify the account by clicking on the relevant link sent at the registered email address or OTP send to the registered phone number.
Step 4: When the dashboard opens, click on the ‘Apply Now’ button and select the course. Fill in the personal details, parent’s details, address details, etc.
Step 5: Upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature in the application form.
Step 6: Pay the application fee of INR 600/- (for all courses) and exam fee of INR 1,400 (for selected courses only for which MET is held) through a Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking.
Step 7: Submit the application form.

Only for Students appearing for MET (contd.):

Step 8: On completion of the application process, the date of examination, syllabus, and sample papers will be shared on the same dashboard.
Step 9: Appear for the admission mode (MET/DT/MET+DT/National Level Test).
Step 10: If selected as per the admission mode, the applicants will automatically be considered for the available scholarships based on merit-based achievements.
