About The Program

MANAGE Agri-Eureka Grant 2023 is an opportunity offered by the MANAGE-Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management to candidates with new and innovative agri-business ideas. The applicants can apply for this competition individually or create a team of 2 to participate. The focus areas for aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and early-stage start-up founders across India under this grant are –

  • Natural/ Organic Farming
  • Precision Farming
  • Agricultural Supply Chain
  • Agricultural Biotechnology
  • Post-Harvest and Food Technology
  • Food Processing
  • IoT, ICT and AI in Agriculture
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Animal Husbandry and Dairying
  • Agri-Input Tools and Technologies
  • Farm Mechanization
  • Waste to Wealth, Secondary Agriculture
  • Agri-Clinics and Farm Health Services
  • Aqua-Culture-Fisheries and other relevant areas

The selected candidate/team will receive incubation support, grant-in-aid and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must -

  • be an aspiring entrepreneur OR
  • be studying at any Indian institute/university/college OR
  • be a farmer/professional/employed individual
  • have a new and innovative business plan that provide innovations or tackles inherent problems underlying agriculture and allied sector in India
Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the awards in the following way - 

Incubation Support

  • The winning individual/team will receive exclusive preference for incubation support in their innovations and agri-business.
  • A grant-in-aid/ funding support post-conduction of assessment by the evaluation committee of MANAGE-CIA.

 

Field Trial & Validation

  • The winning individual/team will get an opportunity of the field trial.
  • They will also have access to technology validation from the partner R&D institutions of MANAGE-CIA.

The winners will be given certificates and an opportunity to be part of the RKVY-RAFTAAR program of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India and other relevant programs offered at MANAGE – CIA.

Preliminary Round Result Announcement – 6th May 2023
Online Presentations by Shortlisted teams in Preliminary Round – 11th and 12th May 2023
Mentoring Sessions - 07th and 08th June 2023
Semi-Final Round – 09th June 2023
Grand Finale - 10th June 2023

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the following criteria - 

Preliminary Round -

  • All participants are required to submit their applications by April 30, 2023 (Sunday), in accordance with the PPT template made available on MANAGE -CIA webpage.
  • All screening of the concept entries will be done at the initial stage, followed by the evaluation of screened ideas through an Online B-Plan presentation.
  • The shortlisted teams will get mentorship training from MANAGE-CIA to better prepare for the Semi-Finals and Grand Finale.
  • Finalists will be felicitated with appreciation certificates and will get access to Programs offered by MANAGE -CIA.

 

National Level Round - 

  • The Finalists will make B-Plan presentations before the jury members.
  • Each Finalist team will be given 10 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for Question – Answer discussion
  • Three winners will be selected in the Grand Finale.
  • Winners will be given Certificates and an opportunity to be part of the RKVY-RAFTAAR program of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India and also other relevant programs offered at MANAGE - CIA.

Terms and Conditions
  • The participants can participate individually or as a team (maximum 2 members will be allowed for the mentoring program offered at the MANAGE campus).
  • Each team must develop a business plan that provides innovations or tackles inherent problems underlying agriculture and allied sector in India.
  • The final presentations can be made in English or Hindi.
