About The Program

The Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra invites applications for Maintenance allowance to Sainik School SC students 2017-18 from the students studying in Government-registered Sainik schools of Maharashtra. The key objective of the scholarship is to ensure that the students get access to military forces and national protection Prabodhini. 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for the scheme, an applicant must -

  • Be an SC candidate.
  • Be studying in Sainik schools of Maharashtra.
  • Have parents annual income less than INR 65,290 from all sources.

 

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through following steps -
Step 1: Click here to register as a new user (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)
Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric. 
Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all required details. 
Step 5: Log in using username or password. 
Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.   

Terms and Conditions

Award Details

  • The students studying at Sainik Schools of Pune, Nashik and Satara will receive reimbursement for the entire expenditure of lodging, boarding, uniform, clothing, pocket money, horse riding, examination fees and tuition fees. 
  • For students of other remaining Sainik Schools, a reimbursement of INR 15000 per annum as maintenance allowance will be given to each student.

  • Xerox of bank passbook
  • Marksheet of the last examination passed
