Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) invites applications for Madurai Kamaraj University Department of Communication Research Assistantship 2021 from M.Sc./M.A degree holder. The assistantship position is on a temporary basis in the Research Project of NCSTC, DST, Govt. of India titled “Risk Communication and Community Awareness Building on Science and Health". The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 9,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 28 years of age
- Hold an M.Sc./M.A. degree in Electronic Media, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising or equivalent programmes with a minimum of 55 percent (5% relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/MBC/BC)
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in Photography, Videography and Video Editing
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 9,000 per month.

- The selection of the candidate will be made based on the applicant's performance in the interview.
- Selection will be based on a Written Test and followed by a Personal Interview.

- The selected person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in Granting Agency or in Madurai Kamaraj University.
- The position will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Granting Agency/University particularly applicable to the said project.
- Late and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
