- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- The fellowship awarded to scholars is liable to deductions for tax and National Insurance.
- In case the candidate's doctorate was awarded before 1 October 2013, they must make a clear case in their application for any modification of this general rule (e.g. maternity/paternity leave or illness resulting in a career break).
- The scholars will automatically be deemed to be a member of the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme (USS) and will have contributions deducted accordingly.
- Professors and lecturers will not be eligible for this fellowship.
- The fellowship cannot be held concurrently with another fellowship.
- At the Warburg Institute, the candidates will have to take up original research on the topic outlined during application.
- At the conclusion of the appointment, the fellows will be required to provide a brief written report.
