Lok Sabha Internship Programme 2018

For three months' internship: 

• Applicant should be between 21 to 30 years of age. 
• Applicant should have an excellent academic track record in fields like social sciences, science, languages, environmental studies, law, journalism, finance and management. 
• Applicant must hold a 2-year postgraduate degree.

Note: Students pursuing doctoral study can be awarded internship in exceptional circumstances.  

For one month internship: 

• The applicant should not be under 18 years of age or above 30 years of age.
• Applicant should be pursuing graduation or post graduation in fields like social sciences, science, languages, environmental studies, law, journalism, finance and management. 

Lok Sabha Internship Programme 2018 provides:
Three months' internship- a monthly stipend of INR 20,000 and INR 10,000 for stationery as the one-time expense. 
One month internship- stipend of INR 25,000 including the stationery amount.

• Recommendation letter from the Principal of College/Head of the institution/Registrar
• Permission from university/college to do the internship
• Essay on 'why the applicant wants to join the internship, his/her career goals and how the internship will help him/her in achieving those goals' (250 words)
