National Handicapped Finance And Development Corporation introduces Loan for Professional/Educational/Training Courses to Disabled Persons 2017. The objective of granting this loan is to help disabled students in paying their education costs and pursue higher education within India or abroad.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility In order to be eligible for this loan grant, an applicant must be-
- An Indian national with 40 percent or more percentage of disability.
- Pursuing any graduate or post-graduate or professional or any other courses approved by AICTE/UGC/Government with the prospect of employment.

Step 3- Click on Submit.Note- Submit the application in the advised format to the State Channelising Agency for the sanction of loan.
Terms and Conditions
Award details-
- The maximum amount of loan for studies in India will be INR 10,00,000.
- The maximum amount of loan for studies abroad will be INR 20,00,000.
Following expenses will be considered for loan-
- Fees payable to school or college or hostel.
- Purchase of equipment or uniforms or instruments or books.
- Refundable deposit or building fund or caution deposit. Note- These expenses will cover maximum 10 percent of the tuition fees for the entire course.
- Cost of a two-wheeler and it should not be more than INR 50,000.
- Passage money or travel expenses for the students studying abroad.
- Other expenses that will be essential for the course completion. Eg.- project work, study tours, assistive devices.
