University of Toronto, Canada invites nominations for Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program 2020 from class 12 passed international students enrolling in an undergraduate degree program. The scholarship aims to recognize the students of exceptional academic excellence and creativity. Selected candidates will receive tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be an international student
- Be currently in his/her final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2019
- Begin his/her studies at the University in September 2020
- Be an original and creative thinker committed to school and community
- Be a high achiever in academic and creative pursuits
- Be enthusiastic about learning and intellectual exploration
- Have demonstrated strong leadership skills
Benefits Approximately 37 students will be selected for this scholarship each year. They will receive tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.
How can you apply? All nominations for this scholarship will be made by the schools. Also, eligible candidates need to apply for an undergraduate degree program at the University of Toronto to be considered for the scholarship. Follow the steps below to apply -
Step 1: The verified schools will be contacted for the nominations

Step 3: The university will send a personalized scholarship application link to students who have been nominated by the school and have applied for an undergraduate program.
Step 4: Complete the scholarship application as per the guidelines provided and submit.
Important Dates
School nomination deadline: 30th November 2020
Deadline for OUAC application (admission): 14th December 2020
Student scholarship application deadline: 18th January 2021
Selection Criteria
Selection of the candidates will be based on the following factors -
- Academic achievements
- Creativity
- Demonstrated leadership
- Potential to contribute to the global community
Terms and Conditions
- International students under this scholarship program stand for non-Canadians requiring a study permit in Canada.
- The applicants will only be considered for the scholarship for their first choice of program.
- Schools can nominate one student per year.
