Lal Bahadur Shastri Scholarship 2018 invites applications from students studying in class 6 to 10 in various government schools across the country. This scholarship aims to provide financial support to meritorious but underprivileged students who aspire of completing their education and serve the society.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be studying in class 6 to 10
- Be a student enrolled in a government or government-aided school
- Have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the previous examination
- Have a total family income not exceeding INR 3.5 lakhs per annum
Benefits A total of 110 students will be selected who will receive a scholarship of INR 3000–4000 per annum.

How can you apply? Applicants can follow the below steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the Buddy4Study website.
Step 2: Register via Google, Facebook or email.
Step 3: Login and go to the application link. Press the ‘APPLY’ button on the scholarship page.
Step 4: After signing in, click on the ‘START APPLICATION’ button to start filling the five-step online application form.
Step 5: The form will take about 30-60 minutes to complete.Note: Please start early to ensure the application completes before the deadline.

The selection of the scholarship recipients will have two major steps:

- Short listing of candidates based on merit and family income
