To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- have completed an undergraduate programme from a recognised university in India
- have been admitted for a master's programme at KTH Royal Institute of Technology
- be a fee-paying student
Note:-
- The students who have received a conditional offer of admission to a master's programme at KTH are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- This scholarship is not open for students pursuing various master's degree programmes, It's not open to those who are enrolled in joint master's programmes or programs that require mandatory exchange studies, like the Master's program in Railway Engineering.
Benefits
Two selected students will be awarded a scholarship covering the full tuition fee for their two-year master's degree programme at KTH. Additionally, they will receive a monthly living allowance throughout the academic year (for 10 months).

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Read the details and click on the 'Apply now' button.
Step 4: Read the guidelines carefully, and complete the application form.
Step 5: Fill in the required details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on 'Send application'.
Step 6: A pop-up for successful submission will appear on the screen, and a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.
Note:- Since it's impossible to modify application details after submitting, applicants are advised to carefully review and confirm all information before submission.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be primarily awarded based on the academic excellence of the students. After an initial assessment for admission, shortlisted candidates will be further evaluated for scholarship based on eligibility and the following criteria:-
- The applicant's grades (GPA or equivalent)
The ranking of the university that awarded the applicant's bachelor's degree
The applicant's motivation, relevant work experience, and extra-curricular activities
Note:- Applicants from Mumbai metropolitan area and Pune will be prioritised according to the foundation’s statutes.
Terms and Conditions
- The granted scholarship cannot be transferred to any other party.
- Continuation of the scholarship in the second year depends on satisfactory study results during the first year of the master's programme.
- Recipients of the KTH India Scholarship cannot carry out exchange studies during their time at KTH.
