- All applicants will be informed in writing of the selection committee’s decision in a timely manner.

About The Program
Klaus Liebscher Economic Research Scholarship 2021 is an initiative for candidates who have completed a Ph.D. degree and have done scientific research. The scholarship aims to give outstanding researchers the opportunity to contribute to the broad range of research activities by providing consultancy services at the Economic Analysis and Research Department of OeNB. The selected candidates will receive a consultancy fee of EUR 10,000 for the entire period of the scholarship.

To be eligible, the applicants must qualify the following criteria:
- Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. degree or hold an equivalent degree
- Candidates must have published work and done scientific research in the field of Economics and Finance
- Eligible candidates will be acknowledged experts with a proven track record in economic research and will be well integrated with their research community
- Applicants must provide proof of active employment with a research institution
Benefits
The selected candidates will get a consultancy of EUR 10,000 for the entire period of the scholarship.
Documents
Following documents are required to be submitted at the time of application:
- A letter of motivation
- A detailed consultancy proposal
- A description of current research topics and activities
- An academic CV
- List of publications
- The names of two references
- Evidence of basic income
- Written confirmation by the home institution that the Scholarship is not in violation of the applicant’s employment contract with the home institution.
